I love movies, and I’ve always had a specific affinity for movies that aren’t incredibly popular or well known. There’s something about seeing and enjoying an obscure film that makes me happy. It’s like finding a rare gem in a box of costume jewelry. To that end, I have started up a new section here, one that I intent to fill with retro-reviews. I will revisit some obscure movies that I love, as well as watch some films for the first time. All are films that fall into the semi-arbitrary grouping that I’ve labeled “Neglected cinema.” I hope you like it.
