Finally got around to watching the season five finale of LOST, and I how have NO IDEA where the show is going in the last season, which starts in January. There’s something exciting about that, though it is also, in equal measure, frustrating the hell out of me. It’s amazing to think where the show is now considering where it began… We will look back on the series in years to come and marvel about the way the game-changers were weaved into the fabric of the story so effortlessly, almost like magic…
And “magic” is the word I keep thinking of when it comes to how many things will be explained in the end, though I don’t think it will be a cheap cop-out or deux ex machina. No matter where the writers and producers are going, I have every confidence they will “stick the landing.”
I also have to issue a mea culpa regarding recent spoilers I posted which turned out to be wildly inaccurate. Shame prevents me from re-linking them here, but the original posts have been updated with my apologizes.
