Those sneaky sneaky sonsabitches – they promote a free screening of The Wrath of Khan at the Alamo Drafthouse last night… 10 minutes into it, the film breaks… and then… well, let’s just watch, shall we?
It was a ruse – instead of Khan, the Trek fans got to see the NEW Trek movie, set to open on May 8th, three hours before it makes it’s official world premiere in Australia.
And here’s Nimoy, as the credit rolls…
The initial early reviews have been incredibly positive, and it looks like the filmmakers may have done the impossible: Make Trek relevant and cool again. Needless to say, I’m there at opening day… and maybe several times more after that…
