Some quick impressions:
It is quite surreal to see The Holographic Doctor on a big 4-d screen and then go down to the Star Trek Experience gift shop and accidentally bump into the actor (Robert Picardo) as he is begging the staff to squeeze him and his family into that same ride (to avoid the crowds).
It is also quite amusing to see Richard Hatch from Battlestar Galactica shamelessly flirt with a cute girl in front of me and then become completely dispassionate when talking to me (well, duh, I’m not a cute girl).
The longest line I saw the day and a half I was there? The line Saturday morning to get into the soon-closingStar Trek Experience. The second-longest? The line to get two free posters from the new movie, coming next year.
Anthony, who runs Trekmovie.com, is a really nice guy.
Oh, and here is your truly with the aforementioned Mr. Hatch. Judging by his body language, being the vice-president of a rag-tag fleet is beginning to take it’s toll…
