I would link to the infamous episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Batmantis, that had Adam, Lee Meriweather and Eartha Kitt appearing, but I can’t find it on line anywhere (buy the Space Ghost DVD, it’s worth it for this episode alone). The transcript is here and the producers really ticked Adam off. Apparently Adam thought this was a fairly standard talk show and he came in trying to hype a book he was selling at the time. Since it was early in the show’s run not many people had “got it” yet, so it’s understandable. Anyay, he shows up to tape his part of the interview, gets continuously interrupted by the questioner (may have been George Lowe, the voice of Space Ghost, in full costume as well – never found out that part) and he got more and more frustrated.
About a year after the show aired, at a comic convention, the producers of Space Ghost were running a panel discussion on the show and in walks Adam West, in the door opposite the panel. He stood, glared for over a minute (until the panel stopped and the audience fell silent), then left.
Must have used his Bat-Hate-Ray on them….
