Very sad to hear that actor, writer and director Harold Ramis has died. An incredibly talented and kind man. #RIPEgon wgntv.com/2014/02/24/chi…

New at my blog, watch The Music of Nilsson 1971 BBC special: josephdickerson.com/blog/2014/02/2…
I’m finally over my head cold – the warm temperature today certainly helped. I wore shorts, and only frightened two neighbors!
My son is now caught up to the end of #BreakingBad season 3. He was not very happy about what happened to Gale… He liked him.
OK, I’m caught up on #TrueDetective, now to grill some meat for the family.
Music
Watch The Music of Nilsson 1971 BBC special
I love the work of Harry Nilsson.
Harry was one of the best singer/songwriters of the 1970s, and he wrote some wonderful songs that are still covered today (Without You is probably the most popular one). He was the Beatles’ favorite “band” (when they gave that response in an interview reporters scrambled to find out who he was) and he hung out – and drank a lot – with John Lennon.
Here’s a little touch of Nilsson, a 1971 BBC special called The Music of Nilsson. I dare say some of the live versions he sings on this are better than the album recordings. Enjoy.
#TrueDetective.
The end of episode 4.
That shot.
I’m in awe. Absolutely gobsmacked.
Best show on TV right now.
On episode four of True Detective. Things are getting serious…
