Finally got a chance to go check out the COllege Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta recently. As I am a rabid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, I was quite pleased to see how well represented the team is – I was also impressed by the use of RFID technology to allow fans of “lesser” teams to enjoy the museum as well (you select your team when you enter, and the “fan pass” you are given allows you to interact with displays that then displays information about said team).
It’s three levels of displays and interactive exhibits, and it is very well designed. The top floor is dedicated to the actuall Hall of Fame members, with the ability to look up inductees by year or team.
All in all, not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. Here’s some pics (oh, and ROLL TIDE!).
