Here’s an unintentionally funny article from the great Six Million Dollar Man comic magazine that was published during the time the series was on the air. Why are they such a great team? Because they are the first bromance:

When the show was on the air, young me loved it… and I still enjoy it when I see the occasional rerun. But the show had some pretty cheesy moments. My impression of Oscar Goldman: “Steve, pal! How ya doin’? Jamie! Babe! Looking good.” When he was replaced with a robot Oscar, NO ONE NOTICED because Robot Oscar just repeated the above dialogue.
That being said, the Oscar Goldman action figure did have one of the best accessories, ever: THE EXPLODING BRIEFCASE!
