Lost in all the excitement of the Twin Peaks revival is the fact that David Lynch and Mark Frost did more than just Twin Peaks together. They did a fantastic documentary series called American Chronicles… and a sitcom named On The Air.
On The Air featured many of the cast members from Twin Peaks, and the pilot episode is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen, ever. Alas, the quirkiness couldn’t stretch to a full series and it was quickly canceled with only three episodes airing (out of the seven made).
