I was at a newsstand here in Sydney last week and was surprised to find a really cool magazine, the first issue of a series that allowed you to build a super-detailed 1/8th scale model of the Aston Martin DB5 from the James Bond classic Goldfinger. Only a couple a problems:
- It’ll take 85 months to get all the parts.
- It’ll cost over $1700 in total.
Suffice it to say, I’m not subscribing. I’m such a Bond fanboy I did pick up the first issue though, and it’s quite well designed and produced. Here’s some pics:
