Did not catch this from Karen Allen at Dragon*Con a few days week, but looks like Indy 5 is a go! Hopefully, no aliens and more “wrath of God” stuff in this one…
(In actuality, this post is just an excuse to post something about Karen Allen. After meeting her at Dragon*Con, I’m in near-stalker mode when it comes to the lovely lady. She’s the main reason I married a brunette…)
UPDATE: Ok, now take this with about… well, a metric ton of salt, but now there’s a rumor going round that Sean Connery will be returning in Indy 5 as Henry Jones Sr. Which means, if it’s true, that either
SPOILERS!
A) The character’s death, as revealed in Crystal Skull, was not true though Indy believes it to be true
B) The character appears in a flashback
C) The fifth film takes place BEFORE Crystal Skull, chronologically (which they had done before, because Temple of Doom takes place BEFORE Raiders)
I HOPE it’s A, because if Indy finds out his dad is actually alive it can become the whole thrust of the movie’s plot. I’m afraid it’s C, because that would mean no Karen Allen (see comments, above). Only time will tell.
