Review: Lucy – A Tribute at Universal Studios

When you see articles about theme parks, mostly you’ll read about the big interactive shows, the rides, or the crowds or parades. You’ll rarely see anything about the quiet little areas, the museum-like displays that celebrate a period of history, or a person – or both.

Well, I’m praising one particular area of Universal Studios Orlando with this post: Lucy – A Tribute is a wonderful section of the park celebrating the life of the classic comedy legend Lucille Ball. You get to see some of the original wardrobe she wore on the show, set-pieces and props from I Love Lucy and a wonderful behind-the-scenes look at the ground-breaking technology Lucy and her husband Desi created to bring the show to life.

If you haven’t seen it and are a Lucy fan (I’m looking in your general diection, Steve), you owe it to yourselves to come to Orlando and visit. It’s a wonderful tribute to a fine and funny lady. Here’s some pics of the attraction:
