This site reports that Gillian Anderson, formerly Scully from X-Files, is set to play The Rani, an old Doctor Who villain, against Matt Smith in the next series of Doctor Who episodes. Hmm. Color me skeptical, but the tabloid that reports this also was the only one to accurately predict the pick for the next actor to play the Doctor, so there may be something to this…
