VIDEO: Recut 2012 trailer embraces the Disaster Porn

I guess it’s “trailer week” at josephdickerson.com, as here’s another post about ANOTHER trailer… this one is a joke remix of the upcoming disaster movie 2012‘s trailer, from io9.com. This trailer, well… it embraces the REAL reason audiences will flock to this movie: disaster porn.

THAT is great work. Kudos, io9.com and Garrison Dean (and hat-tip to Drew at hitfix.com to bringing it to my attention).

Great find! When I saw the trailer before Transformers 2, the announcer might as well have said “From the makers of Day After Tomorrow comes… another Day After Tomorrow.”
