Dr. Strangelove:

Psycho:

The Shining (can you tell I’m a Kubrick fan?):

Spider-Man (the World Trade Center teaser, which came out only three months before 9/11):

And finally, the (indisputable) #1, Alien:

  • Doing UI designs on a deadline…LOTS of them. But I have the primary interaction model nailed (methinks) so it's cut, paste, and tweak. #UX #
  • @DVDGeeks Well Wayne Newton is really just an extended cameo in "License" but Carey Lowell? WOW I've seen mannequins who were better actors. in reply to DVDGeeks #
  • @DVDGeeks Carey Lowell was nice to look at, though. Just not much more than that. Worse Bond girl ever? #
  • @tamaraadlin Hello! I appreciate your appreciation, and definitely let me know if you're ever in #ATL and I'll buy ya a nice dinner out… in reply to tamaraadlin #
  • Working from home, trying to get stuff knocked out…and we've had two brownouts. At least it gives the chance to try iPhone tethering hack. #
  • Hmm… last minute meeting invite from someone very high on the corporate ladder… for tomorrow 8AM. No details. Now suddenly paranoid. #
  • Happy 83rd Birthday Mel Brooks! Harumph! (And don't try and be "hip" & die, like every other celebrity else is doing)… http://is.gd/1ivDp #
  • TUSK! #musicmonday ♫ http://blip.fm/~943oh #

by Joseph on June 27, 2009

Sad. Very sad. But, as De Kelley said at the end of Star Trek II, “He’s not dead. As long as we remember him.”

Here’s one thing I remember: Captain Eo, the movie he did for Disney’s Epcot park. Here it is, in it’s entirety, courtesy of Youtube.
